Description
PETROFLO HEAT TRANSFER OILS are formulated from very stable paraffinic base oils that are fortified with noted high temperature oxidations inhibitors. PETROFLO HEAT TRANSFER OIL, high viscosity index coupled with a low pour point offers excellent circulation during cold weather start-ups, eliminated over heated pump motors, and protects against hot spots (high fluid temperature in the heat exchanger).
Other advantages are:
• Low vapor pressure at elevated temperatures and a high boiling point to prevent pressure buildup;
• Low carbon residue;
• Non-foaming and excellent demulsibility
Application:
PETROFLO HEAT TRANSFER OILS can be used in open and closed installations where temperature ranges are outlined below.
• PETROFLO HTO 100: Closed Systems (-15º C to 285º C), Open Systems (-15º C to 150º C)
• PETROFLO HTO 150: Closed Systems (-12º C to 315º C), Open Systems (-12º C to 180º C)
• PETROFLO HTO 300: Open systems (-6°C to 250°C)
• PETROFLO HTO 400: Open systems (-6°C to 275°C)
