PETROFLO ROLLO II PLD SAE 15W-40, is a super high performance extended life, heavy duty engine oil that provides outstanding performance in the most severe diesel and gasoline engine application.
PETROFLO ROLLO II PLD SAE 15W-40 VISCOSITY GRADE: The multi-grade provides both the excellent flow properties of an SAE 15W grade, in a cold engine at start up, and the higher temperature properties of a SAE 40 after the engine warms up to operating temperature. This feature makes it an ideal choice for operations in a wide range of climatic conditions.

DIESEL POWERED EQUIPMENT
PETROFLO ROLLO II PLD SAE 15W-40 can be used wherever API, CI-4 PLUS,
CI-4, CH-4, CG-4, CF-2, CF, CE, CD-II, CD, SM, SJ, SL & SH/MACK T-8 and Mack Trucks EON, and EOM PLUS oils are recommended. In addition, it meets the engine performance requirements of Military Specifications, MIL-L-2104G, the obsolete Series 3 Specifications of Caterpillar. Tractor Company and the Ash Zinc Requirements of Detroit Diesel. It also meets the Specifications Requirements Cummins Engine Company.
EXTENDED LIFE:
The test data indicated that a fleet operator with a good preventative maintenance program can extend diesel engine drain intervals PETROFLO ROLLO II PLD
SAE 15W-40, and lubrication will be equal or superior to that provided by oils that require shorter change intervals. Because individual operations may vary widely in severity, it is always advisable to utilize a program of used oil analysis in making any major change in oil drain intervals.
GASOLINE POWERED EQUIPMENT:
PETROFLO ROLLO II PLD SAE 15W-40, is fully qualified for use where API, SM,SL,SJ OR SH oils are recommended. It meets the engine performance requirements of Military Specifications MIL-L-46152E. As extended drain intervals have not been evaluated in gasoline engines, engine manufacturers oil change recommended should be followed.
SPECIAL APPLICATION:
PETROFLO ROLLO II PLD SAE 15W-40, is a fully qualified TO-2/TO4 fluid for use in Caterpillar equipment.
PERFORMANCE:
PETROFLO ROLLO II PLD SAE 15W-40, is specially formulated to save fuel in diesel trucks and provide excellent performance in all recommended applications. It is extremely resistant to the formation of high temperature deposits, and compared to more conventional oils, retains its alkalinity for longer periods of time or miles of service. As a result, engines operated with PETROFLO ROLLO II PLD SAE 15W-40, generally have very low ring belt deposit levels, and the corrosive wear caused by organic acids are minimized because of the ability of the oil to neutralize them.
In numerous field test, PETROFLO ROLLO II PLD SAE 15W-40, has been shown to provide excellent control of oil consumption, better than competitive premium oils.
